Straw-gold and bright, with a soft cereal nose and just enough Žatec hop to keep it dry. The bitterness arrives late and leaves quickly — this is a beer built for the second glass rather than the first.

Serve at 6–8 °C in a tall, rinsed glass. Pour steadily down the middle to raise a two-finger head — Czech brewers consider the foam part of the beer, not a waste of space.

Brewed with water from the brewery's own wells, Moravian barley malt, whole-cone Žatec (Saaz) hops and the house yeast strain. Fermented in open vessels, then lagered cold for 30–45 days depending on the degree.

Shelf life: bottled beer keeps 3–9 months, kegs 1–3 months. Store upright, out of direct light, between 5 and 12 °C.
